FAQ

What time to arrive and where?

You should arrive to Milano in the morning March 8th. The meeting starts 14.00. The meeting will be held in Palazzo Greppi (http://www.unimi.it/ateneo/4541.htm), which is located in the city centre of Milano (~10-15 min walk from the Duomo). The guest house, where most of you are staying, is less than 10 min by walking from the Palazzo.

Which airport is closest LIN, MXP?
Linate (LIN) is the airport closest to the city centre (~10-15 min by taxi from the city centre).

How to get from Linate (LIN) airport to the conference location?
By bus: Number 73 from Linate to the final stop (L.go Augusto) takes between 40 to 50 mins (1.50 €). It’s about 500 meters from the final stop to the Palazzo. There’s more info on the website http://www.atm.it/en/Pages/default.aspx.
By taxi: Takes 10-15 mins.

How to get from Malpensa (MXP) airport to the conference location?
Take the Malpensa Express train to Cadorna Railway Station. From Cadorna, take the red metro line (direction Sesto 1 Maggio FS) and get off at Duomo. From Duomo either take the yellow line (direction S. Donato) and get off at Missori (it’s 1 stop only) or you can also just walk from Duomo (< 10 min).
